Jr. High Kidz Episode I: The Phat Beats (Abbreviated as JHK) is an EarthBound hack created by NESluver of Starmen.net. The game is a textual and graphical change from EarthBound, and is planned out to be a full-legnth hack.

In the year 2007, a young boy from America called Danny is asked by the strange prophetic alien Buzzie Buzz to collect the eight phat beats from the eight points on the Earth. All throughout the adventure, Danny will meet new friends and make new enemies, and learn new things that will shock even him.
The story is vaugely different from but virtually the same as EarthBound.
[edit] Gameplay
Gameplay in Jr. High Kidz is the same as EarthBound: Fight enemies and explore the world. However, there is a higher puzzle element in terms of exploration, there are many mazes and puzzles to solve. The game's main character is Danny, a young Irish boy from Middle Village in America, and is a mix of NESluver's real-life appearence and Fuel from MOTHER3. A unique gameplay element is the ability to cook meals. A couple of broken items in the game were replaced with "recipes", which the third character could cook up to make a delicious meal. The only difference between the mechanics for fixing broken items and cooking is the fact that recipes can be bought in Maspeth (Town #2). However, recipes are expensive, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000.

- Jr. High Kidz heavily relies on pop culture refrences and non-sequitur humor as jokes. The main theme of the hack is music and the power of music.
- All the "MySanctuary" location bosses are named after greek gods and goddesses (Except for Triton, the Roman god of water).
- The Dinosaur Museum has become an Art Museum called "The Museum of Urban Art". This is an allusion to The Museum of Modern Art located in New York City. To follow this pattern, Fourside is called New York City.
- The library in Onett has become a high school which Danny attends. It is Molly High School, and has many readable books such as a book about the Armageddon, and matilda_caboose's Ambience. It is also where Danny will find the book called "Your Body and You" which is needed in order to cure the Tenda's "curiosity".
- There is cursing passed between characters, giving the hack a teen rating at this time.
- All of the places in the game are named after places in NESluver's neighborhood. All the people on Danny's team are named after Danny's friends and pet. Danny is named after NESluver, who's first name is Daniel.
